IBM Aspera’s async product is a one of a kind tool for bulk data synchronization. Running over the FASP protocol, it negates the effect of latency, and the data stores can be anywhere in the world, the performance will remain the same. It optimizes on new file detection as well, such that if set up correctly, it can detect when a new file is added or removed from the store almost instantaneously, and can replicate the action on the other end. It can be used to synchronize very large data stores, with millions or even hundreds of millions of files.
