IBM Aspera’s most popular and highly deployed interface, Aspera Faspex, is undergoing major architectural changes. In future all the popular web applications, Aspera Faspex, Shares, and Console will be consolidated into a platform, Faspex5. Faspex 4 is going out of support at the end of the third quarter of 2023, and so upgrade is mandatory to stay in support.

There are, however, salient differences between Faspex4 and Faspex5, which makes the move non-trivial.
